For fun and especially for all you wonderful Global Warming
conspiracists, I would ask you to ponder the following. Below is a
graphical rendition of the most up to date scientific models of what
MIGHT happen with Tropical Storm/Hurricane Opehlia over the next four
days.
Again, these are the best scientific models that can be
rendered at this point in history. It is for a specific geograhic
area and the weather patterns influencing the storm are KNOWN.
There is no agreement as you can see and almost a thousand miles of
difference between where the storm ends up depending on which model you
consider. I would even go so far as to say that the storm won’t
follow any of these that closely over time.
Now, can you actually
believe that scientists can take into account the entire global weather
model and impose upon it the impact of man-made pollution and discern
an accurate scenario for the effect of greenhouse gases that is more
than hypothetical at best? Oh, but then again, you might believe
the unpredictable storm was caused by such an effect, but you can’t
prove it.
