I thought the big media was past this kind of thing, but today the Washington Post has a “what are the conservative talk show hosts going to do now that Republicans have won” story, as if somehow hoping they will now fade in popularity.

It’s a pedestrian article, but this highly questionable observation is made at the end:

After a rocky start, (liberal radio network) Air America is now carried on stations in 39 cities, and is reaching about 40 percent of the nation.

I find it extremely hard to believe that being on air in 39 cities equates to reaching 40 percent of the country.
