So far it’s been a good day for schools I attended (UGa, Auburn, Duke) and for one I just root for because I hate Carolina (NCSU). My beloved Georgia Bulldogs defeated the hated ‘Gators in convincing fashion. Just think, they did this even with a bonehead pass from the end zone that was intercepted for a Florida touchdown. Auburn, which I hate when they play Georgia but tend to root for when they play other folks, squeaked by Ole Miss. The Pack defeated a ranked ACC team in Virginia. Now if only Duke, which trails 6-0 nearing halftime as I write this, can pull the upset against the Semi-holes. It’s been a good day, but that would make it a great day.
UPDATE: Make that 9-0. The Seminoles just kicked another field goal with 8 seconds left in the half. Still, less that two touchdowns in a half.
