That is the only possible way to explain Hurricane Rita making a bee line for Oklahoma City hours after the owner of the New Orelans Hornets inks a deal with the city to play 35 “home” games there. The Hornets, of course, were displaced by Katrina’s strike on the Gulf Coast several weeks ago.

Shinn got a minimum-revenue guarantee from Oak City that could be worth up to $10 million in subsidies should Hornet revenue fail to reach targets.

Or maybe God just hates sports-team subsidies. Hmmmmm…….
