The Farmer’s Almanac has this to say about our weather in the next few months in the region that includes North Carolina:

Winter will be slightly milder than normal, thanks to a mild November and March and despite colder-than-normal temperatures in December and February. Precipitation will be slightly above normal in North Carolina and below normal elsewhere, with average amounts of snow and ice.

But don’t stop mellowing your commodes too soon:

April and May will be a bit warmer and drier than normal.

Summer will be slightly hotter than normal, with below-normal rainfall in eastern North Carolina and above-normal rainfall elsewhere.
