As all fans of the show should know by now and as USA Today reports, “If ‘American Idol’ were the stock market, this would be considered a correction.”
Yes, heavily-criticized John Stevens was finally dealt with like the proverbial horse with a broken leg. He was a sweet kid out of his league, and I only hope the best for him in the future.
Justice prevailed this week in the voting, but did you sense a strategy from the judges? I think they clearly realized that hammering Stevens — provoking sympathetic voters to come to the defense of this nice guy — was counterproductive. So, they went real easy on him and the results changed.
Go divas!
