Union County DA John Snyder has just announced — via Twitter — that former Mecklenburg County assistant DA Marsha Goodenow has joined his staff. Goodenow, the former top homicide prosecutor in Mecklenburg, was fired just days ago by outgoing DA Peter Gilchrist under still mysterious circumstances.
This is pretty wild stuff.
