On the tails of Governor Cooper’s prohibition of events of 100 people or more, Gov. Cooper announced today an order that restaurants and bars closed except for takeout and delivery orders. The measure is an attempt to increase social distancing and reduce the risk of community spread.
The executive order will be effective at 5:00 PM today, Tuesday, March 17.
