The guv talked to Mark Binker and the conversation ran in Sunday’s News & Record. You have to marvel at the governor’s performance.

On Skybus: “We don’t have any investment in it except a lot of my time and Commerce’s time. [the governor’s time has no value] … it demonstrated that’s [GSO’s] clearly the best location for any airline that wants to make those types of trips. Somebody will do it if Skybus doesn’t recoup. [so why did give incentives in the first place?]

On mental health: “The problem we’re seeing with some of the private employees is Friday, 5 o’clock, they’re gone.” [and government employees are more diligent]

On water: “The legislation we’re going to get passed this time will give us a tremendous amount of authority” [but still no mention of flexible pricing based on supply]
