According to this chart, half of workers are either not at all confident, or not too confident, they’ll have enough money in retirement. Since we are living longer, this has particularly serious implications and brings to mind a few questions. Why are so many failing to prepare to take care of themselves? Do they think the Social Security entitlement program IS their retirement plan? And if so, where will all the workers come from, and what will their tax rate be, in order to care for tens of millions who expect to be take care of by government?
