Ok, the buy in at NBC is complete on the Global Warming front and they’ve even changed their peacock brand to green as well. During last night’s Dallas/Eagles match the halftime show was done by candlelight to raise awareness about energy consumption. Interestingly enough, while the show was done by candlelight, they then went to the aerial view of the baseball stadium in Dallas, completely lit up with NO people in it. But I must say, Keith Olbermann looked much more sinister in the dark.
They then went, via satellite, to Matt Lauer broadcasting from Greenland (which is not that green anymore) about the fastest moving glacier on the planet (due to GW). In the background were wonderful sled dogs milling about in -12 degree temperatures. Where’s PETA when you need them?
