The Department of Labor awarded Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry some* money for training and job placement for participants in its Green Jobs Program. The Department of Energy recently awarded some* money to Asheville Independent Restaurants for green technology.
“The mission is to help make Asheville a destination — a green restaurant destination city,” [AIR’s green team leader Randy] Tally said.
