It’s hard for a blogger to have a problem with Yes! Weekly fact-checking Jerry Bledsoe’s reporting on the GPD-David Wray saga, considering the fact that blogs call newspapers and other blogs out all the time. Yet I find it amazing that Yes! Weekly would put so much effort into the express purpose of making the competition look bad.
I realize Jordan Green has asked some hard questions about the city council’s tight relationships with developers and their lawyers, but, like Spagnola, I don’t understand their overexuberance to defend the city on this issue. I guess they feel like their pursuit of the “truth” will help them attain moral superiority, which, of course, is the ultimate goal among the liberal media.
