Ed Jones received his B.A. in English literature from Davidson College. Before becoming director of marketing at Belmont Abbey College, he was a writer and associate creative director at Loeffler Ketchum Mountjoy, an advertising agency in Charlotte, NC. During his advertising career, Ed won more than 350 local, regional and national awards for creativity, including two Clio Award statues. He was also named the top copywriter for print in the Southeast by Adweek magazine, and his work is featured in several college textbooks.

During his four-and-half-year tenure at Belmont Abbey College, the college has set new records for applications every year, total enrollment has increased by 28%, and the advertising and public relations campaigns Ed’s team has produced have garnered significant national recognition for the Abbey. The magazine First Things recently named Belmont Abbey America’s #1 “school on the rise, filled with excitement.”
