Richard Cocks teaches philosophy at SUNY Oswego, and two other colleges in the area, with key interests in ethics, metaphysics, and consciousness from Platonic, Christian, and Buddhist perspectives, with an especial interest in canonical works of Western civilization. He loves Socrates’ notion that one should pore over the teachings of the sages and share what one finds with one’s friends (and students!).
