Sarah Adams is an assistant professor of English at Azusa Pacific University, where she teaches freshman writing, Chaucer, Shakespeare, British literature before 1800, the history of English, and world literature. She earned her doctorate in Medieval English from the Ohio State University in 2007. Her dissertation on the treatment of doubt in Anglo-Saxon saints’ lives is being edited for publication. Other projects include research on St. Wulfstan and on changing ideas of chastity in the Christian church. When she’s not teaching or researching, she writes fiction. She was a semi-finalist in the Writers of the Future short fiction contest and has published in Flash Fiction Online.
