Steven Aird has taught biology for the University of Maryland’s University College since 2009 and currently he teaches in Japan. He has also served on the faculty of Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University, and Tidewater Community College. He holds his Ph.D. in zoology from Colorado State. Professor Aird has received numerous scientific grants and has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals.
