W. Valentine White attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he earned a master’s degree in public history, and the University of Maryland, gaining a second degree in historic preservation. He currently works as an Architectural History Technician for a CRM company in Richmond and, in his free time, researches the early historic preservation movement along the East Coast.
