Where are the lawyers?

As we already know, W-S city attorney Ron Seeber was out of the loop on the land deal. Now David Hoggard has a good point regarding the role of Greensboro city attorney Linda Miles in the Wray affair:

It could be that one of the biggest bumblers in all of this will end up being our City Attorney’s office. Reflecting what I’ve heard described as the adoption of a seige mentality, Linda Miles’ office was woefully underrepresented during Friday’s news conference. As we move forward, the wisdom of Miles’ legal advice to Johnson and our City Council will come under close scrutiny. Or at least I hope it will because her office is embroiled and implicated in this every bit as much as David Wray, Mitch Johnson or James Hinson.

Come to think, Miles has been underrepresented in this whole affair. Odd, since we are dealing with the law, here.
