CHAPEL HILL – Simple assault charges filed against three teenagers who attacked an Indian student after calling him Osama bin Laden will be upgraded to ethnic intimidation charges.
How about charging them with stupidity for confusing an Indian with a Saudi Arabian?
So it’s OK to just assault someone but if you assault someone and use your freedom of speech, then the criminal charge is upgraded?
