I had one student get in my face and call me a “white racist bitch.” Until that moment, I was unaware that political affiliation determined whether or not you were racist. … In the past year, I’ve been accused of being racist, homophobic, and closed-minded.
Fortunately for the hateful students, their target in this case is not afforded the same “comfort” level as certain other students, who are more equal than she.
