Former state Rep. Dale Folwell has been overseeing North Carolina’s Division of Employment Security since March.
In a briefing today for the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society, Folwell addressed positive changes made during the past five months to the office that oversees state unemployment benefits. He also detailed continuing problems and addressed popular myths. In the video clip below, Folwell addresses those who believe North Carolina lawmakers voted to end federal extended unemployment benefits.
