Two days after interrupting the conclusion of the crime drama CSI: NY with news of Arafat’s official demise, CBS announced it had fired the news producer responsible for the decision.
In other news, CBS has done diddly squat about the decision to proceed despite warnings from all their experts with a 60 Minutes II report based upon forged documents intended to damage George W. Bush’s image during the presidential campaign that were faxed to CBS from an Abilene Kinko’s by a man prone to comparing Bush to Hitler.
