Heading west and other items of interest
The latest trip to western North Carolina for John Locke Foundation Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray will feature radio appearances this afternoon with both Pete Kaliner on WWNC and Matt Mittan on his syndicated “Take A Stand” program. Gray will discuss this year’s legislative session and look ahead to the November election. Gray heads to Fletcher Saturday to offer information about state government during a leadership training seminar sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots and Asheville Tea party group. Gray continued her semiweekly politics and public policy updates for WTSB Radio listeners.
The Greensboro News & Record‘s “Mixing It Up” column cited recently an item from Piedmont Publius blogger Sam Hieb citing cultural changes in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s football program.
