The John Locke Foundation’s six-city health-care tour continued this week with stops in Winston-Salem and Wilmington. At the Triad stop, WGHP Television’s Bob Buckley interviewed Vice President for Outreach Becki Gray and Fiscal and Health Care Policy Analyst Joseph Coletti for a story that will air soon. In Wilmington, the Star-News covered the luncheon for its “Health Pulse” blog and in the newspaper. The News & Observer and Charlotte Observer also mentioned next week’s tour stop in Cary. Meanwhile, Policy Analyst and Research Editor Jon Sanders‘ recent participation in the Americans for Prosperity North Carolina Patients First bus tour continues to attract media attention. Sanders discussed health care issues over the weekend with WTVD, and recent reports in the Brunswick Beacon and Benson in Review have featured his comments from the tour. WLTT Radio also highlighted Sanders’ recent TownHall.com health-care column on its Web site. Speaking of WLTT, communications director Mitch Kokai promoted the JLF health-care tour during an appearance on Curtis Wright’s “Morning Beat” program Wednesday. In other news, the Tryon Daily Bulletin recently republished Carolina Journal Associate Editor David Bassexclusive report of a health-care town hall meeting U.S. Rep. David Price held in Raleigh. JLF President John Hood also continued his contributions to National Review Online’s “Critical Condition” blog with a recent post highlighting harmful health-care myths.
