Guilford County Board of Education member Garth Hebert will face a challenger in the upcoming election. High Point resident Richard Becker filed Tuesday for the District 2 seat.
Hebert is a voice of reason on the school board, though I’ve criticized him for not speaking up more forcefully. Lately, however, it seems like he’s been very quiet.
The High Point Enterprise also notes G’boro blogger Spag’s run against incumbent Linda Shaw in the Guilford County commissioners’ GOP primary.
