News broke yesterday that KMPG resigned as Hebralife’s auditor after firing one of its Los Angeles-based partners over allegations of inside trading involving Herbalife.
As the Winston-Salem Journal’s Richard Craver puts it, all the recent news surrounding Herbalife indeed “comes at an awkward time,” considering the fact that Herbalife is getting local and state economic incentives to refurbish the former Dell plant.
