Tonight, I enjoyed reading somewhat from a book about public choice in resource management. Project X and the water fight kept coming to mind as the author discussed topics like rent-seeking; residual claimants; faith in perfectly scientific bureaucracies; and definition, enforceability, and transferability of property rights. This time, understanding is not love.
