Journal editorial on homelessness:
The 10-year plan to end chronic homelessness here is part of a nationwide plan being pushed by President Bush. Other cities are already starting to see success. One big key to success is to pair homeless people with mental problems with counselors who can make sure they get the help they need to stay in homes. Without the counselors, they’re soon back on the street again.
Thank goodness he’s doing something right.
