Sorry to blog this so late ? for some strange reason, not one of us affiliated with Carolina Journal was notified of this celebration of independent media. Nor did we know about this panel discussion, due to take place less than an hour from the time of this posting:

Panel Discussion ?Liberal or Conservative Bias? Politics in the Media? – 5:30pm to 6:30 in the Caldwell Lounge
Panelists include Prof. Mike Cobb from Political Science, Prof. Catherine Warren from Journalism, Technician writer Ana Pardo, and Independent editor-in-chief Richard Hart
————————————

I’m sure this will be a fascinating panel, given the Pope Center’s very recent experience with the calculated aversion to facts exhibited by Hart and Warren. Read about it in George Leef’s letter ? and especially see how Hart responded. Even if McKnight made the error he’s accused of, we know Joey Stansbury told them no such things. The Indy lied, they got called on it, so they lied again.

So naturally, NC State would put them on a panel discussing media bias. Any bets that the consensus will be a there’s a “conservative” bias? Double or nothing on whether they’ll blame the “corporate” media (or some form thereof, like “industrial-military,” “corporate-fascist,” ad infinitum et nauseam)?
