One in seventy of the 21,396 registered voters in Cherokee County is dead:
[A representative from] the Cherokee County Board of Elections office said she doesn’t know of anyone in her 22 years with the office trying to vote using the name of a dead person.
An estimated three in seventy of the dead voters are registered:
