It’s a bit surreal. You feel like Captain Kirk on a Crazy Nanny Planet where those in charge think economies consist in providing useless bureaucracies to buy votes. You see your friends converted into dependent sluggards wanting nothing more than to wait for government money. You try to wake people up, but you find your name has been changed to Captain Kook.

One person screaming for liberty is a kook. Many people screaming for liberty are isolated incidents. Hundreds of people screaming for liberty are no cause for media concern.

However, if more than 50% of voters elect persons committed to returning power and money to the private sector, it doesn’t matter what those people are called. Furthermore, if people learn how to expose government-growing tactics to the people who are paying for them, there is a higher probability that conservative/libertarian voters will be motivated to make it to the polls.

In order to concentrate the critical mass of free marketeers needed to start a runaway chain reaction of removing the shackles from free conscience and free enterprise and checking and balancing government so mortal politicians will be less tempted to use to the system to personal advantage – Americans for Prosperity will be hosting a Tea Party Summit in Hickory in less than two weeks.
