Maybe the presidential aspirants who keep saying that they’ll impose higher taxes on the rich in order to “close the wealth gap” think that the results here would be different, but we live in an increasingly mobile world. Some high-earners would find it worthwhile to relocate to tax havens around the world if the redistributionists have their way.
