It’s just a lot of political blather, conspicuously tossing money around to favored groups but doing nothing whatever do deal with the economy’s underlying problems. So argues Lawrence Lindsey in this excellent WSJ piece today.
At the most fundamental level, our economic problems stem from the fact that the government does way too much — too much spending, too much taxing, too much controlling. Hillary certainly wouldn’t do anything about that because in her view of the world, government ought to be doing a lot more.
