What if Hillary Clinton were truth serum before here speech accepting the Democratic nomination:
About my emails: OK, I knew I wasn’t supposed to do it. Just a few messages were classified. I never expected to be caught. And I wouldn’t have been caught if it wasn’t for one last Benghazi investigation — was it No. 10 or No. 11? They didn’t come up with anything they could use to blame me for Chris Stevens’ death but they trapped me on my email server and nearly brought me down. Thank God for Jim Comey. I owe him one … and I don’t forget my friends, or enemies.
Part of me thinks is exactly how Mrs. Clinton regards here email scandal—brushing it off as if it were nothing. But remember—this isn’t Hillary speaking—it’s N&R editorial writer Doug Clark—and with that in mind I’d venture this is how he and his ultra liberal coworkers down on West Market Street really think about Benghazi and the email scandal.
That said–let me help Clark out with a little more truth serum for Mrs. Clinton:
Gosh, the president and I thought we could push the attack on the American embassy in Benghazi off as a ‘protest’ sparked by an ‘offensive’ anti-Muslim video, but that lie was so quickly debunked that the best course—considering the 2012 election was a mere two months away—- was to just stonewall.
Yes I have many reservations about Donald Trump—but heaven help us if we hand our country over to this woman.
