Going back through past issues I came upon an article by George Fox in the Jan. 10 Times-News in defense of former President George W. Bush. I applaud him for it.
George Bush’s administration was filled with traumatic events.
From his first day in office he was criticized constantly by liberal Democrats in Congress, and the liberal press.
He was unable to carry out some of his plans for this country. He wanted to reform Social Security and the tax system, but did not get the help needed to do this.
He kept us safe for seven years. I really fear for our country now.
George Bush did not try to be a popular president, but a president concerned about the American people.
He is a Christian, who says he reads the Bible every day, had prayer every morning with his staff and had Bible classes for them. The Cheneys are also Christians. Dick Cheney was a good vice president.
History will prove that George Bush was one of our greatest presidents.
During the campaign the liberal press protected Obama from the hard questions. Now we are seeing the real Barack Hussein Obama.
