Democrat Jimmy Love and Republican Tim McNeill are battling for John Sauls’ seat in House District 51. With 30 percent of the precincts reporting, Love holds the lead: 56 percent to 44 percent.
With 77 percent of the precincts reporting in House District 52 (Richard Morgan’s seat), Republican Joe Boylan still leads with 43 percent of the vote. Gerald Galloway has 35 percent. The spread between the top two candidates in this three-way race is less than 1,450 votes.
