The Burlington Times-News tries to find out, but apparently County Manager Craig Honeycutt isn’t being a whole lot of help.
There are a lot of factors in formulas in play here, but the Times-News reports “(f)rom July 1, 2008, to June 30, 2009, the Alamance County jail grossed nearly $5.97 million from renting beds to federal authorities and spent nearly $4.37 million holding federal detainees.”
