The Education Stabilization Fund is composed of (1) a Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund, (2) an Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund, and (3) a Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund.  The overall appropriation for education is $30.750 billion.

According to the Congressional Research Service, North Carolina will receive an estimated:

K-12 schools: $396.3 million

Higher education: $365.2 million

Governors’ emergency education relief grants: $95 million

Total: $856.5 million
