Republicans have been in charge of the House for, what, two days, and this headline appears in the lefty online rag Politico: “Republicans find governing isn’t easy.” This lashup of Washington Post rejects claims to be an unbiased online news site, but that fiction was exposed long ago.
In the wake of a thousand Obama administration, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid disasters, there has never been such a headline aimed at Democrats. And it’s been two years since they took over, not just 48 hours.
But this is the way it’s going to be for two years, until Republicans take over the Senate, too. Then they’re really ratchet up the bias. It will be 1994 on steroids.
