Former ABC newsman John McWethy and his wife recently moved to Boulder, Colo., to be near their favorite ski resorts. This morning he was going down an intermediate slope and missed a turn. He hit a tree and later died.
McWethy was one of the least objectionable Big Network correspondents (at least I have no memories of anything he ever did that was egregiously biased). It just shows you why you should give thanks daily for your life and loved ones because one moment you might be enjoying a beautiful day on the slopes and the next your wife and family are being told devastating news.
Sad.
