Did anyone else get a huge Neiman Marcus mail drop? The store is opening in South Park on Friday, so that must be the occasion — it can’t be that we fit the NM demographic.
I knew that as soon as I saw the “Hip 2006” flyer which included a faded green T-shirt for $110. It was a very nice faded, green T-shirt — even had the classic “Yes – Close to the Edge” lettering ever-so artfully distressed — but still a tough sell.
I mean, $11 for a faded, green T-shirt seems kinda high to me. With the cool Yes logo — OK, I’ll go $12, maybe $12.50.
I must not be very hip.
