Pittsburgh Post writer Bill Steigerwald thinks we could learn something from this prosperous nation that doesn’t have the bad habit of looking to government for everything. Here is his article.

Also, apropos of the Stossel special Friday night, Michael Moore was amazing. He put his invincible ignorance on display several times. My favorite was his response to Stossel’s comment that competition outperforms government in everything. Moore laughed and said, “That’s so 13th century.” I have news for you, Mr. Moore. The 13th century was a time of feudalism and guilds. There was hardly anything resembling free market competition. If, however, we let you have your way to bring socialism to health care and everything else, we’d eventually get back to 13th century conditions.
