Due to a recent classroom incident, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Office and Safe Zone coordinators are offering a forum in room 3206A of the Student Union for discussion on how as Safe Zone Allies, members of the LGBTQ, and non-LGBTQ community can respond effectively to homophobia in the classroom.

Is there any question regarding to what they refer? Golly, it’s too bad you just can’t shut folks up, thanks to that homophobic First Amendment!
Here’s a hint: Speak also. Respond. If you don’t persuade, don’t go Howard Dean or call the campus cops. Show the respect for others that you want for yourself.
Heck, this advice goes for everyone on campus who’s offended by something said. You’re adults now; act like it.
