McClatchy gets it wrong from the start in this story about the faux outrage over the parody song, “Barack the Magic Negro” (emphasis added):

A Memphis man who wrote and produced a highly controversial musical parody of President-elect Barack Obama says Republican infighting over the song is misguided.

The mainstream media continue to be clueless about anything related to Rush Limbaugh. The song, as those who actually listen to Limbaugh’s program already know, is a parody of the reaction of liberal racists and Al Sharpton to Barack Obama’s early candidacy.

You just have to listen to it to understand that. But that would be asking too much of the mainstream media.
