The Enterprise does report that High Point University President Nido Quebein and Mayor Becky Sothers have endorsed Guilford County Commissioner Bruce Davis in his run for Katie Dorsett’s state Senate seat.
Davis is mounting an independent campaign against Democrat Gladys Robinson —-Dorsett’s handpicked successor —— and Republican Trudy Wade, who now serves on the Greensboro City Council.
This is simply High Point looking after High Point, but Nido’s got money, eh?
