Miller: I don’t believe you can stay in touch unless you do town halls. They’re tough. People don’t always like you, but you have to do them. I would love to see candidates for Congress have to raise money in their own districts rather than collecting from national PAC’s. Miller would agree to reject money from outside if his opponent would.
Shuler: Homegrown support is great. Miller’s comments are political posturing.
