The News & Observer published this morning the death of Hugh Morton. 
Being from Western North Carolina I have to say that this man did a lot
to promote the mountains and preserve Grandfather Mountain.  If
you have ever seen colorful photos of the Old North State, Hugh Morton
probably took the photos. Thanks Hugh for capturing the best of North Carolina!
