Human Rights Watch said yesterday that the United States had destroyed its credibility on human rights and the European Union should step into the global leadership role.
Now that you’ve cleaned the coffee off your computer screen, here’s the link. Human Rights Watch acknowledges that the idea of EU leadership is unlikely because, well, the EU hasn’t exhibited positive leadership on anything yet.
It is not clear why an EU so opposed to Islam and individual rights (see here, here, here, here, and here) would have credibility, but that’s what HRW says.
