Brad Miller told a television news station in the Triad area that he is one of hundreds of lawmakers who have received death threats as a result of the health care bill.

“Hundreds” would indicate a good portion of the 535 members in the House and Senate. Has Miller or his staff spoken with all of them? If not, what source is he relying on to make such a bold accusation?

Not to be cynical or anything, but widespread reports of death threats just happen to be a tidy catalyst for liberal lawmakers to avoid the public at town hall meetings.

If the president can tour the country touting his health care plan, congressmen can sure as heck meet with their constituents.
